From our Pallion shipyard facility we operate our marine division. We have in excess of 100,000 square feet of undercover production space, serviced by overhead craneage up to a single lift of 180 tonnes (50 metres from floor to hook). We carry permanent staff including coded welders, pipefitters, burners, platers and marine mechanical fitters working with a variety of materials such as carbon steel, low carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, cunife and aluminium. Our riding squads have completed various contracts aboard clients' vessels not only in the UK but as far afield as Mexico, Singapore and Canada. Tyne Tube services are fully ISO 9002 approved preferred contractors to many leading ship owners and oil and offshore operators.
